The Compleat Food Group has been formed from the acquisitions and bringing together of Addo Food Group, Winterbotham Darby and more recently Wrights Food group.
The group is on a journey to become the UK’s No 1 chilled prepared food company, with capabilities across pastry, deli and plant based in both own label and well-known brands, including Wall’s Pastry, Pork Farms, Squeaky Bean and Vadasz.
We were appointed to deliver the new corporate website for The Compleat Food Group to present the company story to the wider market.
We began the process with a series of stakeholder meetings to understand the business strategy, direction and key themes. This established three core pillars for us to build from; Vision, Capabilities and Impact.
The website covers each of these areas with more depth and detail – covering the business capabilities in pastry, deli and plant based, outlining the business vision, values and culture, and introduces the company’s new ESG Strategy.
Developing their ESG strategy is a big focus for the group. This is an ongoing journey to develop their environmental, social, and governance programmes, to produce food that is better for the planet and for people – this will become a key component of the website in future.
The website also supports HR and recruitment activities, providing recruitment functions across live vacancies, early careers and temporary vacancies, with supporting information on company locations across the UK.
We worked closely with the brand agency, Springetts and PR agency Aberfield to ensure that the look and feel, content and messaging were consistent with the wider brand development for the group.
