We’re delighted to announce the launch of the new UK website for Sacla’, the UK’s number one Pesto brand, to coincide with its new brand identity and the 25th anniversary of Sacla’ in the UK.
Inspiring foodies with real Italian recipe inspiration
Every month, thousands of consumers visit the Sacla’ website looking for Italian food inspiration. The new website offers this foodie audience a huge range of delicious Sacla’-inspired recipes and product stories to help consumers transform their meal times.
Mirroring the recently launched new brand architecture, the site delivers premium real-food cues through the use of beautifully shot food imagery and the new colour palette including the stunning copper leaf. The products and recipes work harmoniously together across the site to help our audience transform an ordinary supper into something with the wow-factor!
Recipe & product focus with Buy Now functionality
Functionality within the site includes related recipes and recipe search, simple range navigation, and ‘Buy Now’ capability across all products – linking to major retailers’ sites or the Sacla’ online store. There is also a focus on Free From across the site, where recipes can be shown as either the standard recipe or the Free From variant at the click of a button.
The final part of the story is the Sacla’ Life section which brings the rich and fascinating history and business activities to life. This gives consumers a unique insight into the world of Sacla’ and its heritage, ingredients and passion for Italian lifestyle and great cooking.
The new site also gives Salca’ a fresh new platform and destination to support a range of exciting digital activities planned for 2016.
Clare Blampied UK managing director commented “2016 is a special and significant year for Sacla’ in the UK as we reach the 25 year milestone. The new website really brings our new brand to life, telling our rich brand story to consumers in an authentic, inspiring and pioneering way.
We are delighted to launch our new website to coincide with us celebrating our 25th year and have a series of other activities planned to ensure Sacla’ continues to be at the forefront of Italian food in the UK.”
Matt Ramsay, managing director of Activation, says, “Our approach has been to let the food and the products do the talking. From the outset we wanted to show, not tell, how transformative Sacla’ products can be. The new website brings to life the culinary heritage of the brand and the sense of ‘wow’ that Sacla’ products add to meals as a result of the company’s three generations of family know-how.”
