Leading furniture retailer Oak Furniture Land approached us with a brief to grow their Facebook audience and engage with their existing fans – and we responded with a unique Facebook-lead daily winning-moment promotion, imaginatively titled ‘Prize Drawers’. Prize Drawers is an instant-win [winning moment] campaign running over over 28 days. Naturally it’s a mobile friendly campaign, with consumers being able to take part on mobile devices as well as on Facebook.
Oak Furniture Land provided a strong instant-win prize (a £50 voucher every day) and also a luxury three-night stay at a Forest Holidays log cabin as a prize draw – armed with these assets, we created a like-gated Facebook app to house ‘Prize Drawers’ game – which showcases the various Oak Furniture Land ranges, and key brand and product messages.
After viewing a ‘why buy’ screen which profiles a different range of furniture each week, the user selects a winning drawer from one of three showcased Oak Furniture Land products. They find out instantly if they have won or lost – with one guaranteed winner per day. Win or lose, the consumer also has the chance to enter in to the grand prize draw – the winner of which is randomly selected after the close of the promotion. The wining moment mechanic, and prize draw is managed by Activation’s Promotor promotional management platform.
The promotion is also supported by Facebook advertising and wider promotion seeding, handled by Activation.
